The challenge
Schools and event organizers still rely on paper tickets, cash at the gate and long entry lines. Fandubb set out to replace that with a modern platform: fans buy and carry tickets on their phones, schools take payments on site, and local vendors sell food and merchandise at the same events.
Our role
Fandubb’s platform was first built by another development team. NADP Consultancy has since taken over its ownership and now maintains, improves and extends it: shipping releases to the App Store and Google Play, keeping the apps and payments working, and adding new features.
The platform
Fandubb is a set of connected products that share one backend.
Customer app (iOS and Android). Fans browse upcoming tournaments, games and events, buy tickets, and keep them as QR codes in a “My Tickets” wallet. Sign-in works with email and OTP, or with Google, Apple and Facebook. Payments go through Stripe, and push notifications keep fans informed. The app also includes a food-ordering flow for event stalls.
Box office app (Android, with a Stripe card reader). A point-of-sale app for school staff to sell tickets on site for tournaments, individual games and events. It connects to a Bluetooth Stripe Terminal card reader, calculates ticket price, fees and taxes in real time, scans QR codes and barcodes at the gate, and blocks card payments when the device goes offline.
Vendor panel. A web dashboard for organizers and vendors to create and manage events and tournaments, handle tickets and scanning, and manage their profile and payout details.
Admin panel. A dashboard for the Fandubb team to manage tournaments, events, customers and support requests, content, fees and platform settings, with real-time operational analytics.
Marketing and ticketing website. A React site where visitors learn about Fandubb, browse events and tournaments, and buy tickets online.
Under the hood
The Flutter apps share one clean, layered architecture with BLoC state management and generated, type-safe API clients. That keeps each feature independent and makes it easier to extend and test. Payments use Stripe, and the box office adds Stripe Terminal for in-person card payments. Taking over a live, multi-app platform means keeping every release stable while the product keeps growing.
Outcome
Fandubb is a live platform that gives schools and organizers one platform for ticketing, on-site payments and vendor sales, and gives fans a simple mobile experience from purchase to entry.
